What do things really cost? 

Is it cheaper to Text?  Talk?   Email?
These are generalities and may not reflect your particular voice and data plan and this was done in June 2008, when texting was free to receive and .15 cents to send, and on a pay per use basis. Most of these were taken off an actual bill.  These rates are indicative of a Canadian plan and charges incurred while in the USA. Download here.

Hosted Exchange and BES

What does that mean? Well, if you are smaller company or even a one man (or woman) show, you probably don't have an Exchange server or BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).  You can have another company host it for a fee. This means you never have to sync your device with BlackBerry Desktop Manager. The only thing you have to do is plug it in to charge.

Individuals

Just do a Google search for "Hosted BES and Exchange" and there are many companies that provide these services.  The cost ranges from $20 - $50 a month.  Well worth it!
